The two founders in the 1980s, sharing frozen yogurt at their first shop

It Started with
a Modest Shop.

In 1986, we opened a small frozen yogurt shop at Promenade Mall in Toronto. It was a modest space with a strong idea: make frozen yogurt that tasted great and felt good to enjoy.

We didn’t have a track record — just belief in what we were building and the products that we were offering.

People enjoyed it, and they came back.

The idea that Stuck

The concept was simple, but powerful

Real yogurt. Real fruit. Made to order.

The name Yogen Früz said it all — yogurt at the core, with fruit and freshness in every cup.

What started as a new way to enjoy dessert quickly became something people connected with: lighter, brighter, and more balanced.

The flavour and colour of our frozen yogurt come entirely from real fruit — blended directly into the yogurt, with locally selected varieties at each location tailored to regional tastes and seasonal availability.

Healthy

We offer four base options — low-fat vanilla, low-fat chocolate, no sugar added, and dairy free — so every customer gets incredible taste with a fraction of the fat and calories of ice cream, regardless of age or lifestyle.

Flavourful

Our flavour combinations span from classic strawberry banana to tropical pineapple and mango blends, with unlimited possibilities crafted from real fruit and frozen yogurt to suit any taste, anytime, anywhere.
