St. Joseph’s Hospital in partnership with Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health and McMaster University have funded the Canadian Healthy Infant Longitudinal Development (CHILD) Study. It was organized to investigate the effects of the environment on children’s health, including conditions such as asthma and allergies. Yogen Früz is pleased to support the organization and the families who have donated their time to be apart of the study.

Yogen Früz is a proud sponsor of the Cabbie on the Street fundraising event, hosted by the Bridle Bash Foundation and Magen Boys Entertainment. The Foundation is a Not-For-Profit organization of volunteers who put forth their time to put on fundraisers for various charities.

university of humber-guelph hosts fundraiser for haiti relief fund

Students at the University of Humber-Guelph organized Still Moments, a fundraising event showcasing artwork to be auctioned off for the Canadian Red Cross. Yogen Früz proudly donated to the event in support of the Haiti Relief Fund. When all was said and done, the group had raised almost $500 which will be used to help those affected by the devastating earthquake which shook the nation in January 2010.

Cosmic Girls, a group of Halton Region citizens who’ve been holding fundraisers for years, organized Crop for the Cure, an event for 125 Scrapbookers, Rubber Stampers and Beaders who do their craft for 22 hours straight in support of The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers. In 2010, Yogen Früz proudly donated to the event which raised $14,500 for the cause. Congratulations to the Cosmic Girls for putting on such a successful event! We’re looking forward to their next event, the Mother’s Day luncheon.

metro vancouver and the canadian breast cancer foundation

Yogen Früz is proud to support Metro Vancouver’s ‘Rockin for the Cure’ team that raised nearly $10,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation during the CIBC Run for the Cure 2009 event in Vancouver, BC. The raised donations will go towards supporting women and their families living with breast cancer, fund programs for breast cancer awareness, and fund innovative research towards the cure.

In 2009, Toronto Police Service hosted a silent auction fundraiser in support of the United Way. Yogen Früz is a proud supporter of their initiative to raise $600,000 for United Way, a national organization which raises money for local groups that address community issues and problems, and the national organization provides leadership, services and coordination to the members. Congratulations to Toronto Police Service and United Way for a successful event.

Yogen Früz is a proud supporter of the EB Medical Research Foundation. The foundation was formed in 1991 by Gary & Lynn Fechser Anderson to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a disease which affects the skin and is estimated that 100,000 Americans suffer from it. Yogen Früz would like to thank Courtney Cox for hosting the 2009 event.

For the program organized by Global Medical Training, Yogen Früz is proud to support Sandy Do to travel to Nicaragua to provide medical services. The program sends nursing students to under-developed nations to help diagnose and treat people with illnesses. Yogen Früz would like to thank Sandy for her hard work in Nicaragua.

Yogen Früz is proud to support Colon Cancer Canada. It is through the on-going work of Colon Cancer Canada that awareness will be created and research breakthroughs will continue with the ultimate goal of reducing the number of colon cancer diagnosis each year. In 1998, Yogen Früz established the Yogen Früz Charity Endowment Fund ensuring that proceeds are committed on an annual basis to a wonderful cause and to this well respected institution.

Yogen Früz sponsors an amazing Camp Tour for kids and teenagers to experience life in its natural glory. More than 10,000 young people throughout summer camps, across Canada, will feel the energy of nature thanks to Yogen Früz community sponsorship along with Magen Boys Entertainment.

Yogen Früz supports people living with Crohn’s & Colitis, by educating individuals on the health benefits of Probiotics in treatment of this disease. Participants at C&C Heel ‘N’ Wheel-A-Thon 2007 were cycling, strolling, running and rolling their way around almost 80 locations across Canada.

As a participating sponsor in 2007, Yogen Früz has assisted the Move-A-Thon to become one of the largest community events and the greatest source of funding for the Zareinu Educational Centre. The Zareinu Educational Centre is a special needs school for children, and specializes in providing treatment, special education and individual therapy to children with a wide range of physical and developmental challenge

the brain project

The Yogen Früz Pinkberry Brain Project is a large-scale, outdoor exhibit that brings brain health, art and imagination to the streets of Toronto. In its inaugural year, The Yogen Früz Pinkberry Brain Project launched across Toronto and started a public conversation about brain health and brought awareness to diseases like Alzheimer’s.
